Track machine clearing brush under tall pines on a wooded lot

Lot Clearing In Lexington SC

Full lot and acreage clearing, with the trees you want kept left standing.

Lot Clearing

Lot Clearing, Start To Finish

Lot clearing takes a piece of ground covered in trees, brush, and debris and turns it into open, usable land. It is the first step for a new house, a shop, a barn, or a garden, and it is also what a lot needs when it has simply been left to grow wild.

We start by talking with you about the plan: where the structure goes, where the driveway runs, which trees you want kept. Then we clear to that plan instead of flattening everything. Trees you mark stay standing, brush and unwanted trees come out, and stumps are handled based on what comes next.

Choose lot clearing when the whole lot needs attention, not just one corner or one stump. If you only need brush cut back, brush removal or mowing may be the better fit. For a build, we can clear and grub so the grading crew can start on open ground.

Questions

Lot Clearing Questions, Answered

Have a question that is not here? Call or text 803-766-6061 and you will get a straight answer.

How Do You Decide Which Trees Come Out?

You decide. We walk the lot together, and you point out the trees you want kept. We suggest removing anything that is dead, leaning toward a structure, or in the way of the plan, and you make the call.

Do You Take Out Stumps And Roots During Lot Clearing?

Yes, when the plan calls for it. Stumps can be ground below the surface or pulled with the roots, depending on whether you are building or just opening the lot up. We go over it at the estimate.

Can You Work From A Site Plan Or Survey?

Yes. If you have a site plan or survey, share it. We clear to the lines and areas shown, and it helps us keep equipment off ground that is meant to stay as it is.

What Is The Difference Between Clearing And Grubbing?

Clearing removes the trees and brush. Grubbing goes a step further and pulls roots and buried debris so the ground is ready for grading or seed. Build sites usually need both, and we can do them together.
