Fence beside a path overgrown with weeds and green growth

Fence Line Clearing In Lexington SC

Brush, vines, and saplings cleared off fence lines for repair or a new fence.

Fence Line Clearing

Open Up The Line Before You Build Or Repair

A fence line that has gone unattended fills in quickly. Vines climb the wire, saplings grow up through the posts, and thick brush hides everything underneath. You cannot repair a fence you cannot reach, and you cannot set a new one on a line you cannot see.

Fence line clearing cuts all of that back to open ground. We work along the line, take out the brush, vines, and young trees, and leave a clear strip so you or your fence crew can get to the posts. We work carefully around fence you plan to keep, since old fence buried in growth can be fragile.

Choose fence line clearing when the work is a long, narrow strip rather than a whole lot. If the growth is thick and woody, we may use a different method than we would on light grass, and we will tell you which one when we walk the line. If you would like the strip kept open afterward, we can come back on a schedule.

Questions

Fence Line Clearing Questions, Answered

Have a question that is not here? Call or text 803-766-6061 and you will get a straight answer.

How Wide Of A Strip Do You Clear Along A Fence?

It depends on what you plan to do. A strip wide enough to repair the fence by hand is narrower than one for a machine to set new posts. We agree on the width when we walk the line together.

Will You Pull Out The Old Fence?

Not as part of clearing. We cut the growth back from the fence and work around it. If you want old fence removed, tell us and we will talk through what the job involves.

What If The Fence Is Tangled In Large Roots Or Trees?

Trees growing through or against a fence need a closer look. We tell you what we can cut safely, and if a larger tree needs to come down, we can quote that as tree removal.

Can You Keep The Line Clear Year After Year?

Yes. Fence lines grow back, and many owners set up a regular visit so the strip stays open. We work out how often makes sense with you.
